Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age using Drontal Plus Flavour and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 monthly intervals throughout their lifetime. This product may be administered whilst the bitch is lactating but we recommend that you consult a veterinary surgeon before treating a bitch whilst she is pregnant. Fleas serve as an intermediate host for one common type of tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum).
